Shots 02, 05 and 09

Here are 3 more shots I animated...

Shot 02: Hero Gnome steps around the flower pot, walks towards the smaller one where he is growing is weed and begins to happily water away...

Shot 05: When Macho Gnome spots Hero looking at him and starts giving him evils, Hero hurriedly returns back to watering his weed, then takes a peek to see if Macho is still looking at him...

Shot 09: Hero continues to water his weed, flicks a snail off and then gets annoyed when Macho's rocks fly over and land in his patch. He then looks up and is in amazement at the lovely Lady Gnome sitting on the mushroom nearby...

rocks... again... again......... and again

Yes more rocks, not much else to say apart from that...

Wednesday 24 March 2010

rocks... again... again

Rocks.... can't say much more than that...

Rocks... again

Ok so here are some other rocks, smoother ones that will have dents and detail applied with a bump map...

Rocks

Ok so rocks... I was a little stuck on how to do them and how stylized sarah wanted them so I just went for it with my all-time favourite tool: the Bevel. The row of rocks on the left all have the same level of bevelling on all edges the rocks on the right have uneven levels of bevelling... take ur pick and say what needs to be done about them...

After some comments from my Director I have modified the birdhouse slightly: Firstly I have made it's stand taller and Secondly I made the boards on the roof look more rough in position.

Chair

Here is the current level of the garden chair I have been set to model. Like with the fence I used a bevel but in these images they weren't smoothed, so as to give it a more blocky look. I also put in an occlusion layer...

Fence

For my first bit or work for the gnomes project I have modelled a fence. For the edges of all parts of the fence I applied a bevel to give it a smoothish look.
